Spell'mon junk: Ammun Rei pod

Note: The suffix "junk" will be added if it's just silly stuff for the heck of it but still related to the project. :B

I love this. <3 It's a cute little chibi sculpture of a scene from volume 3.

This one was experimentation above all else. Trying to figure out how to get Ammy to float, modifying a plastic dome, hell the sculpture itself was redone 3 times before it got put inside the dome.

But damn if it didn't turn out awesome.

The wings on the pod are a little disappointing though. I wanted actual -wings-. Not just an embossed pattern. But there's really only so much you can do with hot glue.

For those who are curious. I got him to float by placing a little plastic stopper (the kind usually on the inside of cabinet doors) on the base and glued him to it. X3;; Tacky, but it's somewhat translucent and holds surprisingly well.
