I've actually had this guy "done" (he's still missing his collar) for a while, but never got to taking a good picture. So here we go, quick photoshoot with the new phone.

He's completely handsewn. Most of the material is fleece, save for his armor which is suede.

I used a hybrid of two of

's patterns. Simple body a for the body, and simple body c for the limbs.

It began and ended with a word.
Not a particularly strong or powerful word, but a word that changed everything. It wasn't too long or difficult to spell. It wasn't uncommon either. In fact, it was a perfectly ordinary word, but, I suppose, its commonplace origin is what made it so special.
I loved that word.
But the word doesn't mean much without the story along with it and I was always one for telling good stories.
